Belarus. Part I.

Map

January 15–16, 2015

There’s no border between Russia and Belarus. Or rather, you don’t notice it if you’re driving. No one stops you; no one checks your passport or looks inside your trunk.

Hello to the bulls in Spain from the bison in Belarus!

I don’t know of any other countries in the world with such a highly developed sense of civic consciousness.

A Belarusian won’t cross an empty street late at night if the light is red.

There are radio programs where emergency workers tell people not to call the fire department if their kitty gets stuck in a tree because that would distract the firemen from more important tasks, and if you take that kitty down, it’ll just immediately scramble up another tree. What’s more, not a single kitty in the world has ever died of hunger up in a tree—they all come down on their own after a day or so.

And almost all the roadside billboards are patriotic and public awareness campaigns with a heavy tilt towards following the rules of the road and loving one’s country.

Look to the future, live in the present

DOSAAFians are patriots of our country!

The taste of Belarusian love—Zhuraviny cranberries

WE are responsible for taking care of the Earth today! Our children will thank us tomorrow.

RESPECT THE RULES

The fish can’t speak up! Let’s keep our waterways clean.

Quit

Do you know what your child is doing right now? Small match—BIG TRAGEDY!

Look, think, decide... Driver, slow down!
It’s clean when no one litters.

The Belarusian Union of Cadets. Defending the Motherland—it’s a profession!

Our descendants don’t need such marks left on the world!

Lifeline. Buckle up!

Don’t rush!

Family: it’s what brings us together

The price of a single moment? Pay attention in that moment!
