Izhevsk undergoes a brief transformation in March.

The city gets snow.

Lots of snow.

Izhevsk would love to avoid being dragged through the mud, but it’s an uneven match. The mud clearly has the upper hand.

So every street in the city acquires five-meter-tall mud banks.

There’s only one way to fight this: summer.
