Balkanethnoexp. Part III. Montenegro

Map

June 17–18, 2012

There’s nothing interesting in Montenegro (just like in Cyprus, for instance).

All there is here is recreation.

The seagull is announcing something.

If the reader should ever decide to visit Montenegro, the place to go is the city of Kotor and the surrounding bay. Everything else can be safely ignored.

It’s nice here.

Everywhere else is full of tourists.

Everywhere else is full of people who want to lie in a pattern.

If you hire a helicopter, you can enjoy views of a smoldering dump on one of the black mountains.

Water meters are locater right on the street so that they can be read without bothering the residents.

The end of the rainwater drainpipe is square.

Danger, high voltage.

Like in all the other countries which were formerly a part of Yugoslavia, the electrical panel on the wall of each building has a cover that narrows towards the bottom (see Serbia or Macedonia).

A license plate.

In a village.

In the mountains.

Fishing on the river.

Those who like Montenegro do so either by mistake or because they’ve never seen other countries.
