How can it be improved, made more livable and turned into an attractive travel destination? At first glance this seems like a tall order. ![]() But it soon becomes clear where to start. Put up normal traffic lights at the only signal- controlled intersection in town. ![]() Revive the waterfront. ![]() Fix up the ancient circular rampart. ![]() Restore the rare remaining specimens of historical value. ![]() Put in normal trash cans. ![]() Create some decent street signs. ![]() Install proper bus stops. ![]() Free Wi-Fi at the municipal beach? Wow. We’re keeping that. ![]() Blow up the elephant on the fountain. ![]() Spruce up the arboretum. ![]() And 32 more improvements. ![]() In other words, an overhaul from start to finish. ![]()
